Scalefast is in need of an experienced and ambitious Content Manager to help tell our story through sales collateral, digital marketing, web pages, and social media. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Brand Marketing Director and team to develop and execute an editorial calendar that aligns with Scalefast’s sales communication goals, including thought leadership, market research, and lead generation.

The position plays a key role in the success of our inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should know how to apply data analytics and SEO to personalize and optimize content. The Content Manager will complement and coordinate efforts across internal teams and outside agencies, interact with C-level team members and build new opportunities across our client engagements.

Job requirements

What will I do?

  • Execute a web content strategy that guides customers toward mutual discovery and engagement with the sales team
  • Serve as managing editor for all content to promote our narrative while ensuring quality, clarity, and consistency of voice
  • Interface and complement the daily activities of a multi-agency team composed of other writers, graphic designers, videographers, and other industry professionals
  • Collaborate with brand, product, and sales leaders to create new promotional collateral and concepts
  • Help maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
  • Use target keywords to write copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed

What do I look like?

  • At least three to four years of agency B2B writing experience or in a similar B2B role
  • Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity
  • Comfort with a full to-do list and the ability to use project management tools to prioritize and monitor deliverables that are internal and external to the team
  • Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement, title creation, and metadata
  • Creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objective
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a superior command of the English language
  • Highly computer literate, especially with how to write, interpret and edit basic HTML scripts, MS Suite
