Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

On people management:

  • be the direct leaders of their teams:  motivate, advise and guide developers through their Scalefast experience
  • keep developers well trained to perform their tasks and will make them aware of all the technical tools and processes of the company
  • share their knowledge and experience on the platform with the developers they are responsible for
  • make suggestions on the assignment of tasks for the developers
  • watch the career progress of developers and help design their career paths

On tech management:

  • lead the technical project they are part of
  • keep the technical coherence of the whole project and be the main technical analysts of their teams, making sure all the functional requirements are met
  • make sure all development tasks are being accomplished properly, unblocking developers of any issue they may encounter
  • build the planning for the project using their technical experience, reviewing estimations, and allocating the right developers for each task
  • make sure technical processes and tools are being correctly used throughout the project
About you:
  • Bachelor’s degree, FP II in Computer Science, or similar demonstrable
  • English is a must (B2 or higher, certification not required)
  • High experience with PHP and LEMP stacks or another scripting language
  • High experience with Linux, Git, and MySQL
  • Experience with Laravel or any other modern backend framework
  • Experience with AngularJS or any other front framework
  • Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit / Codeception
  • Strong knowledge in OOP and its design patterns
  • Knowledge of basic security principles
