On top of our end-to-end DTC eCommerce offering, we provide our clients with Air360, a first-class Customer Experience and Analytics platform, which enables brands to understand how users interact with websites and mobile apps to boost customer engagement and increase conversion rates.


Reporting to our Director of Solutions Engineering, you will be the pre-sales technical expert relating our product with our customers’ needs. Your experience building DTC experiences will allow you to empathize with prospects, identify pain points, and design solutions pertaining to front-end features and functionality, global fulfillment, and platform integration architecture. You will be the link between the development teams and our clients, capturing functional requirements while addressing technical questions, and you’ll represent the company’s Engineering, Implementation and Support Teams in the early phase of all projects. This role is heavily client-facing.


Responsibilities:


  • Identifying high-level project requirements from a functional perspective.
  • Initiating technical scopes of work, facilitating cross-functional solution design.
  • Support the selling of product and service offerings to assist in achieving corporate sales goals.
  • Be the expert that articulates the company’s capabilities in the context of customer needs. 
  • Implement and provide technical demonstrations of the product configured to a client’s use cases.
  • Manage and lead proof of concept evaluations. 
  • Interact directly with prospects to address any technical questions and represent the technical expertise of the company’s Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams.
  • Complete technical sales related tasks as needed, such as developing sales demonstrations, including integration with external systems, and complex business processes.
  • Initiate cross-functional collaboration to prepare detailed internal and client-facing scoping documents.
  • Play an integral role in pre-sales, technical support, sales enablement, and client onboarding.
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders in all business units to draft project proposals reflective of expertise center effort required for each initiative.

Job requirements

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years pre- and post-sales experience as a Solutions Engineer, software sales engineer or application engineer.
  • 2+ years eCommerce solutions experience.
  • Enterprise software SaaS technical SE experience.
  • Experience scoping, managing, and executing pilots and Proofs of Concept.
  • Experience creating and presenting product demonstrations.
  • Strong ability to partner with Account Executives to achieve success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills. 
  • BS/BA or equivalent industry field sales experience.
  • Located on or near the West Coast, reporting into our El Segundo, CA office.
  • Willingness to travel locally and abroad as needed.
